Over a cold October weekend, Troop 19 scout and Pack 19 Webelos went on a Wilderness Survival campout at
Camp Whip-O-Will in Merrimack,NH. The campout was focused on surviving with the bare essentials,
oh and using your brain too.

Scouts cooked their food over an open fire without using pots and pans, but the adults needed a coffee pot!.
Some scouts cooked their eggs is a paper bag!

On Saturday, a den of Webelos 2 scouts from Pack 19 visited and learning about Boy Scouts and our troop.
Scout leaders taught first aid, woodsman, and survival skills during the day. That freezing night, our scouts slept in warm, dry survival shelters that they had built earlier that day, though one scout slept in a hammock he made. Webelos slept in tents.

All survived.
